Yesterday after work, I went to Walmart to pick up one of Eric's prescriptions and to buy some batteries for his mom's ceiling fan remote controls. Picking up the prescription was surprisingly fast and easy. Locating the batteries, however, was a quest. I finally located the Wall-O-Batteries in their camera department. I needed battery size A23. As I was standing in front of this amazing display of batteries (I know that sounds weird, but I had no clue there were *that* many different types/styles/shapes of common household batteries), I realized they were sold out of only one kind...the one I was looking for. Yup, they had full stock on everything EXCEPT the one battery I needed. Ugh.

When I got out of the Walmart, it was 5:25 PM. This is important because Frederick was now at the height of rush hour. Route 15 was jam-packed solid and it had turned into a parking lot. Honestly, they need to widen that road. Anyway, I cut through downtown which, surprisingly, was much faster. I stopped at Rite Aid, and behold, they had the batteries. At twice the price! Double ugh.

Then I stopped at Bloom to pick up my free Cuisinart stainless steel immersion blender (I collected 40 points), but they were out, and they're not expecting any more to refill their displays. However, they will be receiving more, but I needed to add my name to a waiting list. I did so and I'm now guaranteed to receive one.

Got home around 6:30 PM. Walked the dog, took care of a few things in the house, and made lunches. Around 8:30 PM, I got a call from Eric to meet him at his parents' house in Gaithersburg to take furniture measurements, and to bring up more boxes to their Frederick condo. Drove down to Gaithersburg, drove back up, brought boxes in, and finally walked the dog around 10:45 PM. By the time I'd taken my shower, it was 11:10 PM, and I was wide awake. Go figure. Eric got home around that time, too. So I watched the remaining half of the latest ep of Tabatha's Salon Takeover, and both Eric and I went to bed around midnight.

We briefly talked about maybe going out to dinner tonight, but I'm not sure. Our living room couch is very comfy...
